Playing a understanding sequential murderer might sound like a stretch, but former "Six Feet Under" star Michael C. Hall pull it off in this ghoulish drama about a likable forensics expert who channels his violent tendency into knocking off miscreant. Dexter Morgan (Hall) seems so safe, in fact, that neither his girlfriend (Julie Benz) nor his cop sister (Jennifer Carpenter) suspects the true nature of his additional activities.
